The new Scholarship Program offers former collegiate baseball players the opportunity to partner with the IVBN, a baseball community partnership to promote college-going baseball athletes in Imperial County. Our purpose is to support student athlete standouts, offering scholarships to local students by achieving the following goals:
  1. Creating a network of former collegiate baseball players in the Imperial Valley
  2.  To provide information, resources, and opportunities for student-athletes and their coaches to increase expectations and develop enthusiasm about playing college baseball.
  3. To increase community-wide knowledge about collegiate opportunities offered to local baseball players.
  4. To develop and implement strategies to assess and address obstacles to college scholarships for local high school baseball players.

Members of the IVBN invite you to join us in this important work to develop the local student-athlete through high athletic and academic standards, together with preparation to enter and be successful in college.
